Our Foundation
The Impact Scholars Network was born out of a desire to create meaningful change. Founded by Deborah Kemp, a passionate advocate for education and community development, our organization is rooted in the belief that access to education transforms lives. By removing financial barriers, we aim to provide students with the opportunity to focus on their goals and achieve their dreams.

Scholarships That Make a Difference
Our network proudly supports two impactful scholarship programs:

1. The Precious Leshay Johnson Nursing Scholarship: Honoring the legacy of Precious Leshay Johnson, this scholarship empowers mothers pursuing careers in nursing to continue their education while balancing family responsibilities.

2. The Tracy Wheeler Undergraduate Scholarship: Designed to support college sophomores, juniors, and seniors pursuing their first bachelor's degree, this scholarship celebrates academic excellence and ambition.

The Annual Derby Brunch
At the heart of our organization is the Annual Derby Brunch, a signature event that celebrates community, scholarship recipients, and the spirit of giving. This gathering brings together supporters, partners, and students to foster connections and fund the scholarships that drive our mission. Through this event, we shine a light on the achievements of our scholars and rally support for their bright futures.
